Privacy policy

Last updated 2026

AllSwitched ("we", "us") helps UK businesses compare and switch card payments, energy, water, broadband and waste services. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. We are the data controller for the information you provide.

What we collect

  • Comparison details you enter (business type or SIC code, turnover, usage, card mix, channels) — used only to calculate indicative estimates. These are not personally identifying.
  • Lead details you submit (name, email, phone, business details) when you request a quote or AI report — used to contact you and match you with providers.
  • Uploaded statements you provide to the AI analyzer — treated as confidential financial documents (see below).
  • Usage data (pages visited, device/browser) via privacy-respecting analytics, to improve the service.

How we use your data

  • To produce comparisons, calculations and AI analyses you request.
  • To contact you about quotes and options where you have asked us to, or consented.
  • To pass your enquiry to a provider you have chosen to be matched with.
  • To maintain and improve the site and prevent abuse.

We rely on your consent (marketing contact) and our legitimate interests (running the comparison service and responding to enquiries) as our lawful bases.

Uploaded statements

Statements are stored privately, used only to generate your analysis, and deleted automatically after processing. We never store full card numbers — statements show fees, not card data. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Sharing

We share lead details only with the provider(s) you ask to be matched with. We do not sell your data. We may earn a referral fee from a provider if you switch through us — this never affects the costs we show you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] to exercise these rights or to raise a concern. You also have the right to complain to the ICO.

Retention

Lead data is kept for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and meet legal obligations, then deleted. Uploaded statements are deleted after analysis.

This is a template policy for a demonstration build and should be reviewed by a qualified adviser before production use.
